We Help Families Start Over
New Life Warehouse spreads the love of Jesus by delivering furniture and household goods to families who are recovering from homelessness. We assist foster families, resettled refugee families, domestic violence or trafficking victims, aged out teens, veterans, and others who have lost everything and are re-starting their lives. These clients are referred to us by various local agencies, including Salvation Army, Metropolitan Ministries, Church World Services, Hillsborough House of Hope, and others.
Imagine becoming homeless. Losing everything you own in an instant. You start to recover and finally get a new place to live but you have nothing to furnish it with. You now have a living room with no couch or chair. A kitchen with no dishes, or pots or pans. A bathroom with no towels or a shower curtain. A bedroom with no bed. New Life Warehouse helps fill empty rooms to truly make a house a home.
New Life Warehouse collects used furniture and household goods from people in the community and delivers them to families recovering from homelessness. We pickup furniture donations and accept drop-offs at our warehouse. We receive referrals from social workers who have identified familes suffering from furniture poverty. We contact the clients directly and listen to their stories and determine exactly what they need to help them start over. We then personally deliver the furniture to their homes and help set all of the items up, from rugs to pictures on the wall. We provide age-appropriate Bibles for everyone in the home. It is a gift to be able to share God’s blessing with those in need.
Who We Are
New Life Warehouse is a Christian volunteer-led nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that accepts furniture and household items and makes them available at no charge to those who are recovering from homelessness and suffering from furniture poverty.
Our Mission
We restore hope, dignity and stability by delivering donated furniture to families recovering from homelessness.

Our Vision
Compelled by Christ’s love, we envision a world where no family recovering from homelessness is without the comfort of a furnished home. Through the gift of gently used furniture and household goods, we seek to restore dignity and inspire hope, as we help families start over.
Our Values
As a Christian nonprofit, we are committed to sharing the love of Christ through compassionate service, providing families recovering from homelessness with the essential furniture and household goods they need to rebuild their lives. We value dignity, kindness, and respect, and believe that every person deserves the opportunity to have a safe, comfortable and functional home. With a spirit of generosity, we aim to restore hope, promote stability, and reflect Christ’s love in all we do.
How We Help
We assist families by giving them the basic necessities they need to start over, like beds and tables and pots and pans, so that they don’t have to spend their limited resources on furniture and can instead concentrate on paying their rent. We don’t want anyone sleeping or eating on the floor. Our assistance helps ensure our families can combat future homelessness and get a solid new start on life. At the same time, we give our donors a meaningful way to recycle their gently used furniture and housewares while keeping these items out of landfills.
Who We Serve
We assist individuals and families who are recovering from homelessness, fire and hurricane/flood survivors, those escaping domestic violence or human trafficking, military veterans, teens who have aged out of foster care, and resettled refugees. Regardless of the situation they are striving to overcome, they all share a common theme – the need for a new beginning.
Our Beginning
As a Guardian ad Litem, I saw first hand the many needs of the foster families and the parents reuniting with their children.
When home items were needed, I usually reached out to friends and neighbors to help meet the needs. I noticed many people wanted to give their home items directly to those in need. I would pick up items and deliver them to the families I represented.
As I looked at the non-profit organizations, I noticed that they needed this support for their families as well. Many families loose everything they have due to incarceration, loss of a job, rehab, a traumatic event, and human trafficking. When they emerge from the ashes and decide to get back on their feet again, they need a home and items to make their home a place of comfort, joy and thankfulness.
Because of this, and the desire to show individuals that God is with them on this difficult journey, New Life Warehouse was born. – Stephanie Haile – Founder

I first learned of New Life Warehouse during a worship service at Grace Family Church a few years ago. I was inspired by the personal commitment of Stephanie to make a difference in people’s lives, especially right here in our community. I remember tearing up watching the video recap of the various families that were served. One in particular stood out. If I recall the case it was about a 30+ year old man getting the news that he was now going to be taking care of his very young nephew and niece. He had no idea what to do or where to turn. And then New Life outfitted him with what he needed to enable a seamless transition of these children into a stable environment with a committed relative. Wow! I was hooked. And since then I have tried to support with time, money

I learned about New Life Warehouse from a monthly neighborhood article featuring the founder, Stephanie Haile. She was requesting sheets and towels for foster families. I was so moved by her mission that I started collecting ,volunteering, staging, and delivering.
I am honored to be on the board and support their passion for service, deep-rooted integrity, and unwavering commitment to community restoration.
Having worked alongside Stephanie, I have seen firsthand her ability to lead with empathy and vision. New Life Warehouse serves all people in need in the community consistently and brings a spirit of collaboration and excellence that inspires those around them.
New Life Warehouse thrives because of people who believe in second chances and the power of community. On board, I aim to help steer the organization with wisdom, compassion, and purpose.

My first experience with New LIfe Warehouse was serving as a volunteer to stage furniture for new clients. I saw immediately how well-run this nonprofit is. The mission is clear, the logistics are solid, and the impact is so tangible. Merging my passion for decorating with my heart for service felt like a dream come true! I love how many volunteers it takes each week to come together to help our community. Where else can you change the trajectory of a life and still be done by noon on a Saturday? I’m so grateful to work shoulder-to-shoulder with so many loving people to share God’s love in a practical way.

I discovered New Life Warehouse when I was looking for a place to donate furniture and household goods. I wanted to be sure the items I donated would be given to people in the community who needed them. I quickly transitioned from donor to volunteer as I learned about the mission of helping people start over. I never realized so many people in Tampa were sleeping on the floor because they couldn’t afford beds, or eating on their laps because they didn’t have dinner tables. Although New Life Warehouse delivers furniture and other basic necessities, it’s not about the furniture. It’s about hope, and acts of generosity and kindness that can truly make a difference in people’s lives. It’s about sharing the love of Christ in a tangible and personal way. It’s been a blessing to volunteer with New Life Warehouse and serve as a board member.

I was introduced to New Life Warehouse (NLW) by my wife, five years ago, when the mission was still being run out of Stephanie’s garage. Even then, it was clear that this ministry was powered by compassion, faith, and a deep commitment to helping others. Today, NLW continues that spirit—mobilizing hundreds of volunteers from across the community who serve daily to deliver essential furniture and household goods to individuals and families coming out of homelessness, foster parents and children, and newly arrived refugees.
What moves me most is the practical, hands-on impact: people united in service, showing Christ’s love through action. I also admire NLW’s sustainable approach—repurposing donated items to bless homes instead of filling landfills. It’s a simple but powerful way to restore hope and dignity in our community.

I was introduced to New Life Warehouse by one of their dedicated volunteers. With her encouragement, my husband and our 3 kids signed up to help with a Saturday furniture delivery. We quickly found out; it’s about more than just furniture. It was so meaningful to serve others together as a family. We encourage our kids to help others, why not show them how. Being part of a ministry that transforms lives by offering comfort and dignity to individuals and families is incredibly fulfilling.

I heard about New Life Warehouse from a friend who knew I was looking for a place to do some volunteer work. The first time I went there, I fell in love with Stephanie, her heart for the hurting and her mission to help those in Tampa Bay. No one should be sleeping on the floor and at New Life Warehouse we will continue to do our best to see that become a reality. This ministry is more than just supplying essentials to those in need, it is about sharing Jesus and giving them hope. Lives are being transformed; not just the families we serve but also every one of us who volunteer.

Jane Robles
Deliveries Coordinator
I started volunteering with New Life Warehouse shortly after it began, after hearing about it through my church. I serve as the Deliveries Coordinator, which means I get to connect with our amazing team of volunteers to help organize and schedule deliveries for the families we serve. I absolutely love the community here and the friendships I’ve built along the way. One of my favorite parts is seeing the smiles on the faces of the families when their homes are fully staged—and having the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. It’s also been such a blessing to serve alongside my family. My husband Ray is always willing to load up his truck and help with deliveries, and I love that this ministry gives us the chance to serve together. Being part of New Life Warehouse has been a joy and a gift.
Our Impact
Your donations make a HUGE impact on our community and neighbors in need! Imagine having a kitchen but no pots or pans to cook with, or table to eat at. Or a living room with no couch or place to sit. A bedroom with no bed. When people are coming out of devastating circumstances like homelessness, domestic violence or abuse, extreme poverty, aging out of foster care, or refugee situations, they are often moving into unfurnished homes and are not able to afford furniture. Your donations help ensure no one is eating or sleeping on the floor. You help improve the quality of their lives and provide them with dignity and hope. Empty houses are transformed into warm, safe, stable homes for families in need. You are also preventing furniture from being thrown into landfills, which helps our planet.
